crimes

hi
i am new and have a few questions to crimes. sry if its already been asked, i didnt find a detailed explanation of the system.

as far as i know you can summon someone at their hearthfire with a scent from every crime expect trespassing?
do these scents expire after some time?
how many of these can you gather from one crime, and how long after its done?
what happens when you dont have a hearthfire, you cant be summoned then?
are there negative consequences from crimes except scents?
does summoning someone and killing still count as murder?

anything else i should know?

- trespassing and assault, actually
- the clue on ground expires, stored scents don't
- as many as you want, but you can only have one copy in your inventory at a time, so you need to put them in containers before you gather again
- you can be summoned at Ring of Brodgar (starting location)
- no
- yes

It is worth noting that knocking someone out when he attacked you does not leave Battery scents. Killing him still leaves Murder scents, though.

True, but consider it a bug. It shall be fixed whenever I implement the long talked-about new inventories.

Is that true even if he dies due to being hit too hard (grievous damage) rather than slitting his throat after he's knocked out?

Also, does leftover SHP damage translate into HHP damage?

So if I hit someone for 50 damage while they have 25 SHP, will the extra SHP damage be taken from their HHP?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Nope. They'll get knocked out and then you'll have to attack again.
