Some health problems

So I just attacked a fox with a sling and I got my ass handed to me, so when I woke up from unconsciousness I tried again, and again, and I eventually gave up. Now I have only a few SHP about 80 HHP and for some reason I keep losing SHP, it goes like one at a time a few times a minute. I don't have any leeches on me and my food is right below full. Can somebody please help me?

This is almost definitly to you loosing/breaking your footwear in the fight, try to get on non-forest terrain or chop a tree for clogs if you can.

The fox broke your wooden clogs and now you have a thorn in your foot from warning around. Chop a few blocks down and make new shoes or make some out of bunnies. =)
