Quiver and a backpack

Is there anyway to equip both at the same time? Or, if I want to be an archer, am I limited to tiny backpack or crazy inventory micromanagement?

Yep it's either a quiver or a bag. If you want more storage space take a cart with you when you go hunting.

Hi, this cart thing seems pretty convenient, but how do I load it with something? Now I can just pull around with it.

bear capes also block the quiver/backpack slot as well, so melee don't get the extra space either. (bear capes are dual slot, head and back)

Normal capes use it too, I think. I don't think many people have one of those, though. 
I hope they become a bit easier to get in the future, and ideally come in green.

No, I'm wearing a leather cloak, and it doesn't block the backpack/quiver slot. Neither does the hide cloak. (I made one of each a long time ago to see how they looked and if they did anything)

Those don't. I was referring to the capes like those the bandits wear.
