altar sacrifice help?

i cant sacrifice a trod to my ancestral shrine. i left click the frog then right click the shrine and nothing happens could anyone tell me whats going on?

do you DO have ancestral worship and it is the shrine built by the char you are clicking the frog with?

I thought you could only use ancestral worship if you inherited from a previous character?

You have 3 "fake ancestors" if you haven't inherited yet. I forget their stats but it's on the wiki somewhere.
