I am a hermit, do I pick a profession from here on out and if so what areas are there to focus in? or do I try and do okay at everything? Eventually I want to trade and even enter a city. What is a valuable profession to enter?

I usually use my main as a forager/farmer. Then I level a foraging account to 80per/80exp/40surv. Then my main becomes a base body and the forager takes over and I top up the surv/mm as required by nodes.
mining alt just needs like 40 smithing and nothing but str after that.
