Apparently beehives can only like pollinate a certain number of crops. If you have too many growing within the radius it pollinates from the center out.

hadn't heard that 1 before, but there was another thread just like this 1 a few months ago seemed that there was a gridline issue causing it back then(or from what we could tell). do a search and see if you can find the thread it has a good discussion on that exact issue.

Are you on the edge of a map? If so, beehives only work within their grid. If you have a field built on the edge of a map, your beehive will only pollinate the part on his side.
Either move your farm a bit towards the beehive or place another one at the unpollinated side.
Hope you have a great day

Could be, but this is a small amount of carrots. I have a whole circle filled with carrots in my village and they all grow perfectly fine :)

Redell, I believe your issue is related to this.... meaning, I think krikke is right rather than rye.

My farming area has 4x64 crops growing in them, and I've seen an area with a full hive.

They all grow at top speed.

I always figured loftar didn't know how his own code functioned.

Yeah I don't know what everyone is talking about hives not being able to handle that many crops. People have been making circular fields that encompass the entire radius of the hive for YEARS and no one has ever mentioned crops not being pollinated.

More clueless derpy derp from loftar. I guess we shouldn't be surprised by this by now.
