Hi,
Can anybody explain me what is the "authority bar" and how it works? I didn't find anything about it in the wiki.

thank you.

Authority is accumulated over time in a village. All members can see the Authority bar but only the Lawspeaker and Chieftain can use it.
Building authority objects like flags and statues increases both the maximum amount of Authority points a village can store and the rate at which they recover.

I believe it takes authority points to invite members to the village and to name hirdsman. A chieftain can use AP to summon the hirdsman to his current location inside village claim.

I think that's about it right now. They promise to make it more useful later.

When creating a village you must have a player with Lawspeaking begin construction on a Village Idol. Once the idol is created you need the lawspeaker and 4 other players with the Yeomanry skill to activate it. Activating the village idol officially creates the village and its claim. The lawspeaker and other 4 players are then members of the village.

The lawspeaker gets a new button in the bottom right menus called "Government" In this menu he can Name a Chieftain, Invite new members to the village, Kick existing members from the village, etc. Most of these actions require Authority points.

The Chieftain also gains the Government button and has access to a few additional skills. He can name up to 2 other villagers as hirdsmen, summon the hirdsmen, rouse the rabble, invite new members, etc. A player must have 25+ Charisma in order to become chieftain.

Hirdsmen gain the government button as well but the only option they get is to leave the hird, making them normal villagers again. Hirdsmen have access to special equipment (Hirdsman helm and Hirdsman cape) that normal players cannot equip.

Call of the Hird - Chieftain ability, summons the hirdsmen to the Chieftain's location at a cost of 500 AP per hirdsman. This ability can only be used on Village claim.

Rouse the Rabble - Chieftain ability, costs AP and restores the stamina of nearby villagers. I'm not sure about the AP cost or range of this ability.
