What's better a Q99 sling or a Q30 ranger now?

Its the wrong subforum for this, but i would say a q30 rbow is useless. Apart from it looks nicer :p. It will take ages to aim and wont do that much damage

I've made a q42 rbow for my own. And I can agree it takes ages to aim but it will do huge damage (tested it on my friend with ctc, i did 238 dmg and he lost 100 hp on his ctc).

He was only wearing q30 ctc? Why do you think that's enormous damage?
Nowadays a person has a Q100 ctc or a Q90 plate armor, Q50 r-boots, Q100 leggings, Q80-ish dhelm, etc...
That kind of rbow wouldn't even dent his armor.
Not to mention, people have over 300 health.

We don't pvp, we live very peacefully.
But it is great to 1 shot deers

Why not a good Q wood bow with good Q bone arrows? You can still 1-shot a deer with it with enough PER. Plus you can aim and kill it relatively fast vs taking forever on your RBow.

No reason you can't have a q80ish WBow (figure q40ish branches, q140 bear skin... may be a bit high for some without a good sharp tool) with q120 arrows (q40 branches, q200 bones).

You'd be better off making a wooden bow with bear hide straps and your best branches, and making the arrows out of deer/bear bones. Not quite the damage potential of a ranger bow, but better quality (so faster aiming), and it's still enough to one-shot deers. Better than wasting what little silk you have on a lower quality rbow to get a little more damage at the cost of quality and aim speed.
