Attacking in boat (Bug)?

Ok, so I doubt this is really a bug and thats why it isnt in the bug section.

This is the second time it has happened. I jump in another guys boat and aggro him, but my moves dont work, like I am too far away. Also the boat isnt moving. Each time the guy has had a bear cape and necro cloak. I later will try aggro'ing my friend in his boat at the same angle, and it works fine... So after 2 people have gotten away form my moves not doing anything, I need to post this.

I have killed plenty of people in boats before, so it's not like I don't know how to fight in a boat. I have no clue why it doesnt work, so If you guys know what the problem is I would be very greatful. I would be very greatful

might be hitbox problems cuz boats r weird
also, are u saying you hopped in their boat and you couldnt aggro at all? and if you were aggroed you can just click moves on their portrait.
also if you're waiting on cooldowns and they move it nulls the move and stops it.

Also if cooldowns, if they use a move it stops it.

When you jump into a boat your hitbox stays outside the boat until the person clicks to move, meaning you can't attack them.

So you are annoyed that you got almost killed when you try to slaughter someone else?.

So if someone jumps into your boat the safest option is to not move? Can the boat pilot attack the person who entered the boat or is their hitbox outside the boat too far away? Edit: Oh, actually targetting a move on the other person who entered the boat would likely force the boat to move thus resetting the new "passenger" hitbox to be inside?

So if you just sit afk in a boat you're invincible? I guess you could be shot. Or they'll just break the boat and then attack you on the shore.

I've never tried,but can you break the boat as a passenger? If not, then the attacker would have to jump out to break the boat and the target could then run off.
