Barter stand food storage

Postby ramones » Thu Aug 22, 2013 12:16 pm

I know many of you use barter stands as food storage, so I might well ask ya all about my problem.

I put up 1 stone which can be purchased with 48 pcs of different types of food.

Example:

My problem is, barter stand doesn't allow to take "payments" as steamed bulbs, robs (baked), ddd's, and it could be some other types of food aswell which I didn't test.

Is this the case that this type of food can't be uploaded into barters, or am I doing something wrong?

Ty for help :)

It was mentioned before that Barter Stands aren't accepting some stuff - i.e.

Nightly wrote:For example I can selected blueberry pies as a price but not ring of brodgar or perched perch. It's not a discovery issue either because I've made some inferior versions of the food to be sure I had discovered it. The things I can set as prices seem to be pretty arbitrary. I can set brambles and poppies as a price, but not mantles or ladybugs.

We should have a list of nogos ... at RoB Wiki ... so lets gather information ...

Ladybugs
Ladys Mantle
RoB (baked)
Perched Perch
Buttersteamed Cavebulb

Can pretty much say anything that is a curio that didn't already exist in the game prior to w5. There might be some details in some of the old w5/w6 discussion on it, as I'm not sure I recall anyone stating they tested every curio. (Would be a good place to mass store some basic curios, like straw dolls, too.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
