Impossible Quell the Beast

I was trying to tame an aurochs and i was at 80 tameness, when my game crashes. So, when i get back on see im still in combat i'm like, good, but when the aurochs yries to attack me, i get all the requirements for Quell The Beast fine, but when i try to tame, it doesn't work.
The Aurochs i was trying to tame also wouldn't twitch until I moved so that it would have to face a different direction to see me.

you did say you got all the requirements, but just to make sure,
did you make sure the intensity is set to zero when you quell? (easy mistake, but ppl often do it.)
did you have enough ips? (you lose all your ips when you get disconnected, or thats at least what had happened to me dc'ed while taming and logging back in.)

Yep, i checked. And it also didn't work when i tried to tame a boar a few days ago, even though i hadn't crashed

Is it possible that you hit any of those animals before you tried to tame?

i got KO'd by the one i was trying to tame

i really dont know whats wrong with it and i tamed a few just a couple of days ago and had no problems at all, which means i cannot reproduce it
(i got disconnected like twice during taming as well, and had no problems afterwards either.)

you were at 80 taming points, right? so it does mean that you know how to quell and you had a rope equipped for sure, i guess.
can you give more details, like, what have you been doing and which part you could not succeed? just the last quelling?

it is a glitch, i had that happen and the only way to get out of the glitch is to kill the one you had to 80 and start on another or wait for the whole batch to despawn.
