Quality of A sling?

What does Q do with a sling? like, i know the higher the better, but what does it do?

it determines the max damage, sqrt(quality of sling/10) * 60

as an example, quality 40 sling is 40/10 = 4 square rooted = 2 * 60 = 120

It also determines your aiming speed. I believe you aim at a maximum of double the sling Q? Correct me if im wrong.
