Meat Quality

Postby JamesButler » Sat Oct 12, 2013 12:30 pm

Hi.

After butchering Animals (red and brown "health"bar at 100%) we discover a difference between the given quality and the butchered quality.

Today:
male pig, meat q80 : butcherd with 100qaxe, 100 surv : lvl57 intestines, lvl57 meat.

the pig SHOULD not have eaten any gras, foddertrough filled up and in range.

it happens to cows, pigs and sheep.

Can someone confirm the same problem/bug ?

it does not matter if they should not have eaten any grass or not because it takes time especially for male animals to raise "food eaten quality" to the same as all stats quality, unless the milk quality of its mother is extremely high compared to the other stats.

as i see your reply, i doubt this is a bug. people often butcher animals that do not have the food eaten quality high enough and complain.

- Quality- (item q + food eaten q)/2 = result q

* Baby animals food eaten quality at birth is equal to milk quality of mother, changes slowly(ratio?) while drinking better/worse milk.
* When changing into adults animals starts to eat from food trough, still it takes 2+ days to notice even a small change.

Im using 300+ carrots now just to make it fast(95+ bierwurst any1?)

If you have some more questions:

I should soon update it.

@LadyV:

He wrote in his opening post his survival was 100, so that's not capping the meat/intestines.
