Run this game?

So I'm trying to install and the run file comes up as a batch and everything else is an executable jar file. Am I missing something, how do I install this game. Oh btw this is when I try installing the enders version. When I try installing the regular autohaven its a jlnp. How do I install this stuff. sorry if this is a stupid question.

There is no "installation" for Haven & Hearth. If you have Java installed and configured correctly, it will download a small file called "autohaven.jnlp" that has instructions on the other files Java needs to cache from the web server to run the app.

For Ender's, you download the .zip files (make sure to grab the latest update, too), extract the main archive to a folder on your computer, and then the update. Open the folder, and use the run.bat file to launch Ender's. (May vary on Mac or *nix)

when I click run bat it just brings up a cmd page and then closes and thanks for the quick response
