Didn't H&H used to have an alert IM system where when someone walks on your claim it alerts you?

Yep. Not entirely sure what ever happened to it though...

I thought they shut it down because of lack of interest, but I very well could be wrong. Last I remember it was still somewhere deep in the announcements forum. IIRC it was somewhere around W2-3.

Found it... If I am reading correctly, when the server was moved it simply was not turned back on even though that was the intent at the time. Sounds like a good thing in the end though, because although it was nice to have, in the hands of the larger factions it could easily be used to prevent any type of raid from happening.

Larger faction nothing, everyone used it to prevent all raiding. =)

Didn't I read something at some point about people spamming the system with it to cause issues outside of the game servers?

If it was a matter of people logging in to stop a raid... well, raiders should come with a bigger group. After all, isn't that why people have dozens of combat alts laying around?
