Locked inside my own Palisade Walls! Help

yup....got locked inside my palisade walls, lost my key's outside and now i can't get out.....

Long story short...... I went out with my key, instead of my alt having the key, cause it was suppose to be a quick trip to the river and swamp to grab some dragonflies and fishes, however i saw a guy fighting a bear, and he pleaded for help, so i did with my archery, but in the end the guy killed me, stole my stuff, i wasn't really high on HP at the moment......
and so here i am....

last time i will EVER help anyone again...luckly i was a good distance away from my settlement and its well hidden so my village for a couple days havent been raided yet by the guy so im pretty safe.....


any tips on getting out? ive tried searching for one but alas, i failed....

Do you have the materials to build a ram inside your palisade? (trees, chickens, hemp/flax?). If not, your best bet is to declaim your plot and wait for the palisade to decay. Other methods require someone else to come along and break the hole in your palisade for you, which involves you telling them your co-ords, and then probably getting robbed/murdered again.

If you don't have ram-building materials in your palisade it's probably not going to be any great loss to pick up, pack up and start again without carrying your key ANYWHERE, EVER. But you knew that bit, right?

Last time this happened to me I grabbed what was most valluable to me at the time(couple pearls and bars of metal) and destroyed my own Hearth Fire to port out into the Wilderness.

Then I had a choice, find a new place to settle or try to break from outside, that is, after having to walk/boat 3/4 of the entire map.
I'm too stubborn, 3 days later I was at my place again building a ram from outside

i had this happen to me as well once. i had gotten sealed in my own place. packed the only LC i could carry and started living out of a box and a leanto :3

Sorry mate, I am a hermit, and ever since that guy kiled me and several other people i thought were "Friendly" I'm better off alone....... Im just going to do the disclaim and decay method.... luckily my gate was half-way decayed before I lsot my key and I just need one more to break it!

good luck - btw. the same had happened to others who got help by "friendlies" by ramming them out or porting...
