Question about Kiln quality

Postby Aaryaa » Mon Dec 30, 2013 11:54 am

I used 44 q77 clay and 1 q78 clay to make a kiln. As per what the wiki says my kiln should be the average q of the clay which would be 77.

After I made the kiln I decided to test it out. I put in a q21 peice of clay with 2 branches of q45. They clay came out to be q36. That would mean my kiln is q56, but how could it be q56???

But when I used q100 boards are fuel, and q100 block to burn to make charcoal it came out at quality 4 which means my kiln is q77.

I don't get it :///

My bet: the clay was q11, not q21 :)
