Does clay source regenerate? i mean if i exploit a lot of clay it tends to dissapear b ut will it be regenerated someday?
what do you mean by "the pen is stonger than the sword"? you do know what a sword is right?

I believe the quality of the clay can slowly go down, but the entire clay node can't be removed. I may be horribly wrong

well i already en dup with a node, extracted like 800 for brickwall, but need more and i cant find another source so i was wondering if it will recover someday

Clay nodes do regenerate. It does have to be a node however. Most mudflats one give one piece of clay. You can dig the clay of a node completely out and depending on the original quality it may regenerate in a few hours to a few weeks.

As a rule consider 8 hours per level of recovery. Bear in mind the ticks for recovery are a bit random. So it may have just replenished as you were digging. But a q12 node should not take to long.

If you dig with a 1 survival char the node gives much more pieces of clay; and starting from the outside, moving towards the place where it has higher Q you will also get more than if you take directly in the center.
