Items gone - is this a bug?

Hello,

I build a house and some containers in and around it.
I didnt have the ability to own a land yet so everything is takeable by others - i know.
But now i logged in, ALL of the containters are empty, not destroyed or moved but empty. Some had even useless stuff like apple cores in or stuff you can easly craft yourself like stone axes and so on. everything gone. And all containers are on its place except one is gone. The cutlery on the table is still there and the crops untouchend and unharvested.
I think a robber would only steal or eat what he is capable of carrying, not lets say 15 containers and useless stuff!? The containers are not in bad condition so no need for repair or deleting because of decay.

(Besides i didnt see another player ingame ever, so im not sure what it is or where a robber should come from.)

Is this a bug or is it usual all containers stuff is cleared sometime to zero?

People will just drop the stuff to mess with you. They prolly dumped your goodies and chuckled

But why didnt they destroy my stuff or drop my boxes into the water?
I dont get it...


That means i have to find an area where definitely NO ONE will ever come to?
How do i do that?

not need make nothing special, make a new char, destroy hf , spawn randomly , found one place without claim, drop it everything,why?, idk exists a lot of idiots in this game.. dont search fucking explanations, and put a claim+brickwall ASAP.

No need for a new character if it didn't die. You can still break your HF and drop something at your feet when you log out and get the "spawn in the wilderness" option. If you have anything useful (such as crops), make yourself a bag up and take it with you to restart.

But no, there's no way to avoid this, just mitigate the losses. It is an MMO, which means a persistent world with multiple players on at all times of the day. Anyone can come around at any time whether your there or not.
