So my dead body is stuck in a boat

How do I get it out? I can't get my descendent in there. I can click 'steal' but I just run into the boat. I tried to steal while riding the boat, but that didn't work either. I can't lift boat nor body. I can get in the boat, but I can't sail it. Can anyone help? I'm thinking that destroying the boat might do the trick, but I'm worried my body will disappear in the water. Will that happen or is this a safe thing to do?

Ended up destroying the boat, which worked just fine. :)

You could also just wait till your dying char is really dead ...
