Use minehole as hearth vault?

Hi!
Ive stumbled across various mineholes, one of them being the place of someone who had raided my place, and I cant enter the mine because "theres no room at the exit".

How can I make such a vault myself? Is it enough to surround the exit with a circle of signposts except one tile where I place a hearthfire? Could I make some alts and log them out in the minehole to have them remove the signposts?
I have built a levl 2 minehole and it would be pretty annoying if I cant enter or leave it anymore, any help greatly appreciated!

PS: Are mineholes still destroyable, so I cold place my hearth somewhere deep and destroy all the holes?

Put a fire on all 4 exit tiles. When you block a mine hole, nobody can go up/down while it's blocked, so it wouldn't be much good for a vault.

Place a village idol 5 levels deep and destroy all the mineholes. This way if you commit a crime someone they will need to gather 250 leather, harvest 1000 flax and cut down 60 trees to reach you. Most hermits won't have the resources or time to gather all the materials before the scent expires, and most people won't even bother tracking you down for a petty crime.
