Confused on progressing.

Hello All! It's been a few days but I have gotten my char up quite a bit and I was wondering how I should progress in the game.

I have some wheat and I'm growing the plants for plant fiber. I have a beehive and I'm currently building my palisade walls. I have a cart with barrels and a road leading to my well and I'm tanning ALOT of rabbit hides. I have a lot of low level Q20 curios stockpiled and quite a stock of food (fish). I already have most seeds and they are growing but this is as far as I have gotten. I was just wondering what I should start building or working towards now.

It's a sandbox though, the things you want to achieve are generally up to you. Progression is largely subjective.

It's not about how many deaths you escape, it's about how many deaths you cause

Work on getting a mine next.

as Potjeh said, try to get a mine hole, or some pearls that you can trade for the steel/wrought required for a brick wall.

Most players now can tear down a palisade in a few minutes, so a brick wall is really the only defence if you plan on staying where you are
