How do I get developed skulls?

Postby PolyMcFee » Wed Mar 05, 2014 6:07 pm

Has anyone figured out the details yet?
I had a 5 week old character die with 11 int, 26 cha, 400k+ LP and no developed skull
then had 1 week old character die 40 int, 52 cha, <100k LP and no developed skull

only developed skull so far was 6 week old character 36 int. 20 cha, 9 mill+ LP

So it is not just Int and Cha.
But seems Int doesn't need to be 40+ like the others have suggested.
Wondering if Int. matters at all......might just be Age and LP?

The wiki states that the quality of the skull determines if it is developed or not, as well as that the quality is proportional to the victims Psyche.

I have read a lot of conflicting accounts. Im not aware much research has been done.

Someone (who has access to enough psy food) feed an alt with enough psy. Let it die and check if the skull is developed or not :)
Hope you have a great day

To put it bluntly, no one really knows. Everyone has theories that work sometimes but when put to rigorous testing they fail half of the time. What makes a skull developed? Loftorian magic combined with Jorbian secrets.

btw i think the psyche one would be easy to test. get a new character to 15 psyche and kill it, can probably test within an hour.

I'm more willing to believe that it's INT * discoveries on the character and maybe sliders as well.

I've tested a few things:

50 base INT = undeveloped
67 Psyche = undeveloped q67 skull
100 base str = undeveloped skull

Psy doesn't seem to matter for determining if it's developed or not at all, it just determines q which is useful for things like skull cups and thrones but nothing more.

I've had reports from my own villagers where a character with under 5 mil lp and 30 base int had gotten a developed skull.
The character had roughly 5 days played time on it.

So it needs more testing for sure.

I was hearing rumors of 50+ Int and 1M LP would make developed skulls. But that char proved its not the case.

Maybe its both int and cha.
