Survival... WHAT THE HELL?

Yea...
My only question is...
How to goddamn survive?
Im almost starving (where can I find any food? I have found 1 rabbit (food for 15 minutes) and toads which... are useless...
I was walking for 30 minutes and found no apple-trees... Nothing.
Are there any special locations where I can find some animals to kill? ;d

I almost died because of ants, raided their anthill, but found nothing useful.


Any advices? ;p

catch some rabbits, dry the hide. get some leather. make a sling. build a boat. get 25 marksman. stand on a boat and shoot stronger animals with rocks. lots of meat, lots of hide.
thats the basics.

Try fishing, it is a lot easier

You need to raise your Exploration and perception to see more items. Your first Learning points are very important if you are new to the game. If so its far more important to see items first before raising survival.

you mentioned a rabbit, so I assumed you have one
try to look on grasslands and moor, there are always a lot of chickens for bones and food

u didnt read the how to guide right? look on google for sevenless guide for begginers is very usefull

Grasslands are kinder to hearthlings than forests and mountains. The most reliable source of food for new players is chickens which spawn on grassland. They're easy to catch in bulk and make a nice meal.
Trying to survive purely on foraging is difficult if you don't have any points in exploration. For the purposes of just surviving, it's a great idea to raise your exploration a bit. Survival will begin to jump start your growth too when you've found your feet.

If you are truly desperate and stuck in the middle of a forest you can catch rats at night and cook them with sticks over a fire. It isn't recommended to rely on them solely however, because they can cause you to lose SHP or HHP if your SHP are low.

I mean else than Leech and Gaze
