Randomly taking damage

Postby Handsome_Enemy » Sat Mar 15, 2014 4:54 pm

I've been playing H&H for a while now and find it a really good game. But recently I've been losing MHP and have no idea what is causing it.

I have carefully watched my character for leeches and can't find any. I have also been wearing shoes all the time so it is not the "A thorn in the foot"-buff.
No animals have hit me and there is no signs of a player. I haven't been starving either.

Luckily gauzes have made me stay alive but I still wonder what this is about.

Thank you for your time and it would be absolute fantastic if I got an answer to this dilemma.

No, I do not use criminal acts (well, it happens that I do use it, but it was a long time since I last used it) and I don't have criminal acts on all the time either.

You get hurt FEPs from only certain foods. Once your FEP bar is full, there's a chance (if you ate only hurt FEP food, it's 100%) that your health will get damaged by 5%. You don't get hurt FEPs from fruit, nor do you get it from raw aurochs meat.

Are you wearing shoes? If you walk through a forest without any shoes on, you get something called "Thorn in the foot", which keeps doing 1 damage to you over and over. If you put on shoes or go into a biome that doesn't cause it, it will decay eventually.

Hope this helps!

Okay, I just need to be clear: It is NOT that I have been eating raw foods. I'm very careful with what kind of food I'm eating.

I have been wearing ranger's boots, don't know if those are causing this but I guess it would be a good idea to tell what kind of shoes I'm wearing.
I also cannot see the "thorn-in-the-buff" in the upper-right corner.

Thank you very much for your answers. :D
