Can't Play

I know This may Seem the most idiotic thing but how do you start playing, i signed up for the account and have searched their site and have not found out how to play in the browser or the link which downloads the launcher whichever it is. i understand this is a simple question but i have searched for nearly an hour and im just asking for some assistance.

You click the play button. It downloads a .jnlp which you run.
You need java installed.
