How can i reset the tmer of the silkmonth?

Like the wiki said, the silkmonth will die in 8 hours from the time that i caught it. It also said i can release it in the river with a boat to reset the timer, are there any way that i can reset the timer? Like release it in my timber house will it fly away? Or it only fly around my timber house? Help please i am currently i have 2 female silkmonths @@ (too hard to find a male)

A good way to keep silkmoths alive if you own a boat is to go out into a river and release them. Because they will not move across water, they will simply spaz in place and won't get away while their life meter resets.

the problem with wikia is that there are some entries that are unverified or plain wrong, so most of us trust RoBwiki more

In case of a Timer Reset when released on a river with a boat it needs to be verified.

If you release it inside a House it stays in the house flying around but there shure won't be a Reset... if you're in need of male ones better grab a boat and go to a distant place to catch some ...

Raise your Exploration and your Perception - you'd prolly see Silkmoth more often - and male ones aren't more rare than female ones.

I believe moths have nothing to do with perc*exp, they are just like animals, you see everyone spawned. It is impossible to check though.
