Hey all! i had this problem today where someone in our village planted trees in a bad spot where we couldn't get the logs from them if we let them grow up.

so we tried to chop down the trees...but... it wasnt possible. the chopping never starts, all that happens is that we walk up to them and stand there like a derp.

these are the 2 perpetrators i mean


does anyone know how we can get rid of them? :/

but... they cant grow being planted 2 pixles from eachothers can they? :/

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe in this case it can reach the next stage, not the final one though

edit: ah, sorry, I didn't see there is the second one, then yup, you're most likely doomed
edit2: although stage one tree doesn't count as object, so one of those probably will make it to the next stage, so if you'll chop it fast enough the second one has a chance too

They can but its not a absolute. Sometimes the game registers the other tree as a solid object to prevent growth and sometimes it does not. If you want to make sure the sappling grow remove the other tree before stage one hits. Other wise wait and hope is all you can do.

and i have nooooo idea how long it will take them to get to their next stage... this will be intresting

On the plus side if they are stuck - they do look pretty as they are ^.^

Prolly one tree will grow so you can chop but the second won't grow as it gets stunned because of the first one

Accidently had to encounter this in my tree farm with high q seeds when paying more attention to chatting than planting
