How much time do you think is left for world 7?

Worlds aren't reset on a schedule, it just happens, there's no telling when. I wouldn't be betting on anytime soon though.

You'll be waiting for quite awhile. The servers are stable, no data corruption in the world, and there is no current or planned development on Haven 1.0. Chances are Hafen will come out before World 8 comes out and Hafen isn't scheduled for any time soon.

I started really late and its still fun, my feeling is that if you don't find the game fun, don't play - and having the best stats/resources/trees etc is not the only thing you can do.
also there is so much to learn in this game, even if you do feel frustrated cause you didn't start at the same time as others, waiting until haven 2 would still put you at a disadvantage there because you would not know other players, various game mechanics (some of which will be similar probably), etc.

One benefit of starting late in a world is you have a lot of ruins to explore and scavenge from. And plenty of people who will sell you their older stuff for cheap or give it away.

My town bought q200 herbalist tables, instant q100 seeds from WWWs. Really handy to start our farms.

Well.. gonna be a long wait until " World 8" because that will probably be World 1 in Haven 2.0. Unless the server crashes before that. dont expect a miracle :P

Actually Hafen World 1 will run concurrently with Haven World 7 for so long as Hafen is less developed than Haven. =)
