Fishing Issue

Okay so, I'm a fairly new player and I'm trying to catch pike, because it is currently my only source of INT FEPs, as I cannot kill a fox yet. However, All I seem to be catching is Sturgeon and Eel... Are all the spots with jumping fish the same, or can you catch different fish in different areas?

Or, alternatively, does anyone have any recommendations on other ways to gain INT?

What you catch when fishing depends on the following factors: Time of day, location, phase of the moon, lure, hook, pole and line type as well as the quality level of each piece of fishing equipment.

I'd suggest blueberries for early int gains.

Do blueberries just spawn naturally in the world?

Yeah, you need foraging and your exp*exploration must equal 20 to see all of them, so rise your exploration to 2 or above if you haven't already.

Thanks guys, I just figured out that with my current setup, fishing in the same spot when it's day yields a plentiful amount of pike.
