The world?

Postby McJager » Wed Jul 23, 2014 9:26 am

I'm sure if this is covered anywhere(looking now so I can request a lock for this if it is) but, In relation to the sabinati map is there a way to figure out where I am on it? Trying to avoid large settlements right now till I'm atleast somewhat able to defend myself. I'm guessing it's all located either through a grid system or by seeing familiar marks on the map in game and then comparing it to the sabinati one?

Q: Is there any way to view your coordinates easily?
A: Nope~! Your best bet is to locate distinctive features around your area, in my opinion lakes and mountains are ideal, then scan through Alg's map until you locate yourself. The more of your area the better off you'll be. If you're using a custom client such as ender's, you also have auto mapping which will generate a map based on your minimaps automatically. You can utilize this to better find yourself on the world map:

Thought this information may be out of date. Some of the newer custom clients might just have coordinate systems for all I know now that the world is more or less explored.

Ah, Currently with ender's atm I suppose I'm stuck with landmarking. Ender's confuses me a bit and had a hell of a time installing it last time lol
