fishing line loves to break

so sometimes when i go on one of my fishing trips, the line breaks once every 1-2 fish, or even with no fish caught at all... is this a glitch? the wiki says you have a 1% chance to lose the lure line or hook on a catch, but this is just the line and its happening WAY too damn often....
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Lol,Was having the same issue earlier. Only quality 5 rod but.. still. Got frustrated and dumped it in a lake and made a new one, No issues now it seems.

the rod im using is q67 so i dont think its just because its a low quality rod.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Eh, Drop it and pick it up? Had a bucket that kept magically going empty earlier and that fixed it

No its not due to quality. Sometimes its just poor odds in your favor and at other times the game tends to glitch.
