No X on the Map

So i pressed something and the X that shows where im currently at on the map is gone can anybody tell me how to toggle it back

assuming youre on enders, look for a file named "windows.conf" and delete it (to clear the preference).

restart the client - if it's a custom one you might ask in the clients subforum

I open the both links but none of them had anything to do with the map it is the deafult client any other solutions on fixing this?
