Pumpkins and Sturgeon early on. When you can hunt go for roasted boar and bear meat and then switch to bear sausages when you can make sausages. Once you have domesticated animals pork works until you have a cheese mining operation going on, then nothing but cheese baby. Midnight Blue Cheese is the cheese of choice.

Remember that you can get more bang for your buck by diversifying your food. By eating multiple foods per stat gain you can reduce the needed FEPs from food by 70%. Low quality beetroots, carrots, grapes, peapods, and raw meat are great for this.

For starters the easiest way is Pumpkin Flesh which splits the FEP bonus between Str & Con. Con is good tho for a miner and anyone really, as it raises your HHP or base hit points. If you don't have access to Pumpkins yet then the next easiest way is fishing. Brill is the easiest fish to catch for str but it also splits the bonus: Str & Dex. Pike also splits, but this time 3 ways between Str (2) Int (2) & Con. The Con FEP bonus is only (1) from Pike tho, meaning you won't hardly ever get the Con bonus just eating Pike. It's more of an even split between Str & Int. Int is vital too tho, as it enables you to study more, or better, Curios in the Study Panel. I'd suggest the http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/FEP_Table
As well as that site for help in about every conceivable HnH matter.
Hope that helps and wasn't too much info for you :P

Hey TeckXKnight could you give a link to an area that explains how that works? I'm still mystified myself about the whole FEP system yet...
Please sir
