Taming Tactics/Combo, Help?

Postby Shrapnelx4 » Thu Sep 18, 2014 3:18 am

So after playing this game for months, ive gotten decently far on a few characters, though im still considered a noob by most of you.

Ive done it before, and i need to do it again, taming. I know the basics of taming, ive got the skills for it, but i forgot the combo..

From what i know, if taming sheep/cow, use the signpost trick to box all of them in, and tame one at a time. Use a skill to gain advantage, another skill to get combat intensity to 0, then quell, correct?

I basically need to know the detailed combo of skills required to tame.

Sorry if i seem rambly or anything, im just ultimately frustrated with the lack of knowledge on the Wiki and forums on this topic, and the rare chances i get to talk to other players havnt yeilded any useful tips.

When I had to do it again recently I just used dash/thunder for IP, sidestep for advantage, and sting like a bee to drop intensity to 0

I just trap them in a gate or tame from the water with boars, but yea basically the same.

Have confirmed that Thunder x20 > Sidestep x3 > Sting Like a Bee x1 > Quell combo works perfectly, thanks a lot for the help guys.

U can always use stone trap for boars in case they will be roaming inside your village or near it. Just use 4 stones placed around 1 tile, so you can go inside diagonaly but boar wont be able too. Make sure you train a bit of entering so you don't get stuck :) To make it easier, you can also put 6 stones.
