Do apple trees only give a certain amount of apples? if so how many and do they replenish? its just should i plant loads of apple trees or just 2 or 3 would be ok? obviously apple pies are a high source of con gain!

Apple trees always produce 5 at maturity. I believe it 3 at first possible harvest.

As for how many apple trees you need depends on what you need. If you want to trade, fight, or mine and use them for that then yes you will need a lot. If you don't plan to take those paths you wont need many.

Who doesn't trade, fight or mine ? ok so they only give a certain amount per stage got it!. I thought i may of been like a mulberry tree or just replenished its self.

They do replenish, but it's highly random when. The number of trees you want in your orchard depends how much pie you make. Just start with 4-5 apple trees and expand as needed.
