Table quality

I was wondering, should I use high Q wood on tables.

All I found about table Q was this post:

In there, there are two conflicting posts:

With a naked table with no symbols. A roughly Q100 table and chair gives about 8% hunger modifier and no FEP bonus. so around 92% hunger bonus with no symbols.

we've tried making a high q table and chair, it made no difference to a table made using q 10 boards and blocks

So which is it?

I think it just says that any q table will give 8%hunger modifier.

It appears that only the chair will affect it.

As stated above, only the chair effects the outcome. The chair acts like a symbol even though its not in the table symbol box. Its the 9th symbol that never degrades. Thrown have a better effect then chairs too.

Just another quick thing to note. There is a base bonus when using tables but loftar must have not attached the table quality to the base quality so the table Q doesn't effect it. The base quality brings an empty table with Q0 chair to 98%
