unknown file type help!!!!

unknown file type help!!!!

I click the play button to download the game but when it downloads and i try to open it says unkown file type please open with.... and it list like notepad and stuff im not that smart when it comes to this stuff so i dont know what to do please help

I can show you how to fix this problem in 29 easy steps:
1: delete system 32
17: ignore step 1
8: download java
29: Start haven
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

thank you that worked for the most part but now it is saying that my security settings have blocked a self-signed application from runnning
