Chickens

I'm a semi-experienced player, but I have not fully understand the value/usefulness of chickens. So, I thought that I would throw out some questions...

1) Does chicken meat boost a certain stat, if so which one?

2) Are chicken feathers useful, if so for what?

3) Are chickens more valuable (for trade purposes) alive?

Chicken is the only food in the game besides chantrelles that give Dex FEPs. They are significantly easier to gather than mushrooms *IF* you have conveninent access to a *large* plains type terrain.

Yes they have market value. At the moment however, Dex fish Provide the ability to gain dexterity while raising int or str and so the demand for these is MUCH higher if you have the supplies to catch 90+ more worth your time to gather.

The problem with chickens is that they aren't available in HQ. That will change whenever domestication comes in.

They also provde feather which are used for beds, lures, and mapmaking. THey should probably be necessary for Arrows once combat is fixed and domestication is added.

Hmm, I though fish would be less wanted, precisely because it also gives int or str as well. I swear, nobody wants any str food (I had slices of Brodgar Blue sit at my stall for days and I charged 3 copper coins per slice), and I thought everyone gets more than enough int from trying to gain psy with Jorbonzola.

I think I may just go back to fishing.

And what about linen?
Everyone buys it but I don't know why, I use it only for torches

Villages need all the linen they can get for flags.
