OK, what's the trick with honey?

I just constructed a hive with q66 boards, q52 blocks and q140+ straw. I harvested and replanted some q40+ flax in it's area. First honey comes in, and it's q1.

Seriously, how the hell do you get better honey? My old crappy hives were at least giving q2.

IIRC we made it so that they get their Q at least partly from the stuff they pollinate, but something is obviously foobar here.

Could you just make it depend on hive components quality until you figure out what's the problem? Pretty please?

... and loftar has posted on the subject and we have talked about it on a number of occasions and he doesn't know what's wrong with them, and nor do I.

Gut feeling tells me it's the crop quality part that messes it up. Just toss it out of the equation until you figure out where the bug is.

Oh, and can you guys see quality of liftables? If yes, could you take a look at my new hives and tell me what's their actual quality? It could be that they're not saving quality properly. IIRC barrels had that problem.
