Are screenshots a lie ? or what is going on

Hi,
I am a new player and i came here with a friend. After landing on the site, first thing we looked at was screen shots. The latest shoots were showing some really good graphics ( better than Salem ) but the game still looks like in 2009 screen shots. Why is that ? the latest ones show a 3d game, very very good looking. What's the catch ?

Are you referring to Hafen? The devs are working on the next version of Haven and it's a compatibility break from Haven so that they can improve on the engine to permit more freedom with their coding.

The next update will be when they've got more on combat for us. There are other screen shots and previews scattered about but that's the bulk of them. There's a picture of a rideable horse that loftar recently posted as well.

Yea this is it...but you should get it out of the screenshots section as it confuses people. And when is this Hafen coming out ? looks gorgeous.

come on Teck gave you links to the announcement threads already - do a bit of working yourself please - there is no release date yet ...

No clue! Probably not this year. Hopefully next year at some point. =)

To be fair, the original screenshots were also posted before the game was actually available. ;)
