Death of water Recovering items?

Is it possible to Recover items from someone who has died from drowning in water?

No - everything dropped in water (be it accidently or not or by dying) is gone forever

If that did exist,you will see lots of newb bodies near the shore washed up by trying swimming.

Wasn't that 100 CON just to get across a narrow river? I never bothered swimming as I didn't work it that hard in w3. The LP grinding kept me away. Reminded me too much of trying to get out of a hell level in EQ.
