Snake Mining?

I use to play a couple or so months ago and I knew how to snake mine, however when ever I do it now a collapse happens every time. Was this removed? I did 2 tiles in from a cave wall, then tried to dig to the right and bam! 150 damage.

It was removed more like two years ago now. It has been a while since you played.

Glad to be back! A lot has changed. So many abandoned villages and claims, oh boy did I rush strength and vandalism for the new 30 day rule! I almost killed my friend by summoning him with a scent, that would have been awkward.

You should wander. Never been a better time to do it with so many abandoned places to loot and explore and all the big factions hiding in their walls and using alts. The game almost feels like a post-apocalypse game with all the ruins around.
