Does fuel quality affect q of oven-baked goods? Also, IRC

Postby bexy » Sun Apr 05, 2015 5:56 am

Does fuel quality affect the quality of foods baked in an oven, or is it just the oven quality? I cut down some q3 trees and was wondering if there was a way I could use the wood and it not go to waste.

And, I've had a lot of trouble connecting to synIRC for the #Haven IRC chat. Is it just me? I've only been able to connect once through HexChat and I've tried on 20 different occasions. Can anyone link to it on KiwiIRC or something?

Thanks so much guys. Sorry for all the nooby posts.

The formula used for determining the baked good's quality is (DoughQ∗2+OvenQ+FuelQ)/4

Fuel q matters - as "normal" trees are q 10 there's not much sense in using q3 for fueling - use them for plows, chest, palisade or something else where q doesn't matter

for haven channel you might try with http://cgiirc.synirc.net/ (where you put in #haven) or http://chat.mibbit.com/?server=irc.syni ... l=%23haven or https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.synirc.n ... bexy#haven in your browser - (all tested with latest Firefox)

right click - open in new tab to enlarge

but any IRC client should be good to connect to irc.synirc.net (you might check the clients forum in case of problems)
