Leeches will sap your SHP to restore your HHP. They will suck your blood 3 times before they become full, in which you discard them or store them so they later become hungry again. Just be careful that you don't lose all of your SHP from leeches because they will deal HHP if you don't have SHP.

To build upon what Patch just said, Leeches at q10 will drain your blood three times, dealing three SHP damage every time, for a total of 9 SHP Dmg. With every SHP Lost, there is a 3/10 (citation needed, information is from my own personal experiences) chance of recovering 1 HHP.

You can also collect 4-leaf Clovers from grasslands, hearth or moor, and feed one to a wild Sheep (Mouflon), and sheer it with any sharp tool, to obtain one wool.

so when I've got 20 HHP and SHP i should let them drain my blood 6 times which equals 18 SHP and then rest so SHP will regenerate again and do it again and again?

Yes, but it will take a long time.
Gauze will heal about 30% of your MHP

The total damage dealt is 3 * Q/10, and that feels a bit low for the chance to heal 1 HHP. A single q10 leach is around a 50/50 chance to heal 1, and sometimes 2 HHP. By the time I get some leeches to q40, they heal at least 1 HHP per leech pretty consistently, and I usually get a few HHP back per leech. (I keep a lot of leeches around. Helps suck that hunger meter down and make great fishing bait.)
