Treeplanters pot - sapling timer bugged?

Hi All,

I've begun planting some trees for wood lately and have noticed that they seem to take forever to sprout into a sapling.

I've just checked the Wiki and it says it should take 1.5hrs in real time but my pots are on around 63% and have been there for about 2.5hrs real time.

Have the times changed or is it something I'm doing wrong? :-/

I used a non farming/nature alt (neutral nature slider I think) to add the soil/seed/water to the pot but had my nature farmer place the pot on the herbalist table. Does this affect timings?

Edit: just returned after 30 mins or so and noticed the percentage has risen almost 10% so it would take roughly 5hrs to complete?!

I suggest you do all parts of treeplanting with full nature character.

The sprouting time is affected by your Nature/Industry slider. If you're full Nature, it takes only 1h20m; if not, it takes longer. More importantly, if you're not full Nature, there's a good chance the tree will die on completion instead of sprouting (75% chance of it dying at full Industry). Plant trees with full Nature characters.

After 1 hour and 20 minutes (dependent on Nature/Industry slider), the tree will either sprout or die.

Guess the next incarnation of RoB Wiki should have times for neutral/full industry too
