what is this bot doing and any way to report?

I keep seeing a bot(definitely a bot) coming by my place every 17 minutes. Exactly 17 minutes. After following him, it looks like he does a full sweep of the river using the same pathing every time which takes 3-5 minutes, then logs out at his place next to his hearth for 12-14 mins. Rinse and repeat. Exactly what is he doing and is there any way I can get a mod to ban him already?

Why would a mod ban it? Where is it located? Is it hurting you by being there? Could it be someone who doesn't feel like talking to you? Just thought I would ask what the fuss was about and enquire why you seem to have a problem with it?

I don't particularly like bots, and I don't like ones possibly scouting me.

this community doesnt seem to care bout bots since all uses em, and if you say bots are bad. the post down gets shit hammered with folks who doesnt physically play the grindy part of the game.

they want to just pvp with their 0 effort alts. but i agree with you i dont like bots nor 3rd party make life easier scripts at all. if you want to play the game play it , dont cheat your way trough and grief afterwards lol.

Thank you for the honesty. I think at this point I'm not as interested in the game. I know letting others ruining my fun isn't the most mature thing, but I really can't enjoy a game where it's next to acceptable to bot, and next to required if you want to keep up with other players. So I don't think you'll see any more of me.

I'm still curious as to what he was doing though, even if it doesn't matter now

There are no in-game mods and there likely will never be one. The devs sometimes take the time to wreck bots but only when they're feeling particularly frustrated. Otherwise they're working to code the game to be less bot-friendly and for bots to be less necessary. For world 7, you must simply accept that bots are a thing and will continue to be a thing.
