How do I use my Stone Axe?

I recently created a Stone Axe, and don't know how to use it, ive tried right clicking trees, stumps and such, but it doesn't work. i have it equipped in my character screen, but i cant seem to make it work.

click stone axe -> ctrl + e -> click equipment window -> ctrl + e -> click right tree -> wait -> click "Chop" option -> end

Do you have the Lumberjacking skill? You'll need that before you can cut down trees. As windmaker said you'll also need to equip the stone axe. To do that you can follow his instructions or just open your character page and drag the stone axe into your hand. =)

You'll need to learn Primitive Tools and Wilderness Survival before you can learn Lumberjacking.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about then open the game, press Ctrl + T to open your skill page, then click the Skills button at the bottom of that window. You'll see a list of skills that you can learn which will unlock crafts, actions, abilities, and more. =)

yeah, but how do i use my tool? i right click, theres nho chop option. and i have it equipped
