How do I delete a name?

When my character dies, is that name forever unusable? Meaning I cannot ever create a character with the same name ever again? Can I delete names of characters that no longer exist?

No names are unique. You can make another character with the exact same name right now. You can make 10 characters with the exact same name right now.

Why do I get "you already have a character by that name?" is it because of a skeleton I have?

Hrm, I may be mistaken then. Is it just that different accounts can have characters with identical names then?

Yeah, my second character got killed by a boar not 2 minutes into her life, and now I can't use that name either... I just wish I had some way of being able to wipe a name from the server so It could be used again. I'm not one of these types that want a XXXsepirothXXX name or something like that.

Just put a space after the name and then a full stop, I think that works or call it sepiroth 2nd and then try not to die too many times,

The problem with multiple same names is that a certain name, say "Mr. X" cannot be used on the same account more than once. On the other hand name "Mr. X" can be used on multiple characters on multiple accounts worldwide.

If you want same name theres some tricks that you can use. Spaces in name or some stuff like that

May I suggest that in future versions delete characters you don't or can't use?
