How do Straw Beds Work?

sorry to sound like a total loser who cant read but i never got my bed into the lean to i clicked and clicked and clicked for a min strate left right both and every ware between i can get to the two slots ware you put things but i cant put the bed or any thing else in there am i missing something is there a lick im missing dose it just need to be fine tuned so that it works as intended i don't get it...

Lift ur straw bed and right click the leanto
